    Mark Kingdon

    Chairman of the Board

    Mark Kingdon is a 3x tech CEO and founder of Quixotic Ventures where he invests in early stage startups. With one of every eight investments he’s made achieving unicorn status, Mark brings deep operating and investing experience to Miami Angels. Key investments include Twitter, TheRealReal, Offerup and Homelight to name a few. Earlier in his career, Mark was a senior consulting partner at PwC where he ran the Retail and Distribution Industries practice, advising companies on developing the internet channels and was a member of the global leadership team for the consulting firm. Mark holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from UCLA.

  • Melissa Krinzman

    Melissa Krinzman has a 25-year history of launching, growing, advising and investing in early-stage companies. In 2014, Melissa, in partnership with Jeffrey Miller, co-founded Krillion Ventures, a seed stage venture capital firm based in Miami, FL. Krillion, a Miami-first fund, prioritizes the review of and investment in seed stage investments based in South Florida in HealthTech, FinTech, and PropTech.

  • Tigre Wenrich

    Board Member

    Tigre is the CEO of LAB Ventures, an early-stage PropTech investor. He is the former founding CFO of Open English, helping to grow the company from commercial launch to over $50M in annual revenues. Tigre began his career as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 16 years as a partner in the US, Spain and Mexico. Tigre holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford.

  • Juha Mikkola

    Board Member

    Juha Mikkola is the founder of Usko. Usko allows users to view, analyze and monetize their Amazon purchase history completely securely. Before Usko, Juha founded Wyncode Academy, the largest coding and digital design educator in the Southeast, which was acquired by BrainStation in 2020. An awarded community leader, Juha was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2015 and won the South Florida Business Journal’s H. Wayne Huizenga Startup of the Year Award in 2016. He served as the Beacon Council’s Tech Committee Chair in 2021.

  • Jared Schwitzke

    Managing Director

    Jared Schwitzke joined Miami Angels in 2022 as a Principal, getting promoted to Managing Director in 2023. Prior to Miami Angels, Jared held a variety of roles in Silicon Valley. Jared held various roles at both Apple & Google, has helped launch multiple venture-backed startups, and previously worked as the Head of Platform at GreatPoint Ventures.

  • Guillermo Gomez

    Venture Ops Associate

    Born and raised in Colombia, Guillermo graduated from Babson College in 2020. Prior to Miami Angels, Guillermo worked for 3 years originating and executing real estate investments for Midtown Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm with +$1B in AUM. Guillermo was an early investor in LULA and Tul.
